Assistant Project Management

BA Architecture at Manchester School of Architecture. 

Sandra joined DAY Project Management as an Assistant Project Manager to assist the senior management team to deliver a series of large capital schemes including the Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital in Salford.  

Sandra has a relevant academic background as well as experience in the field of architecture where she gained BA Hons in Architecture which has supplemented her understanding of the construction technology and processes throughout the RIBA Stages. Sandra is using her professional experience to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.  

During her time at Day Project Management, she has become an active committee member of the Generation 4 Change (G4C) North West advocating for young professional voice of the UK built environment agency. Sandra is also involved in The Save Construction Initiative Campaign to influence the stability of the UK construction sector and address the skill shortage in the industry’’. 

Projects  

  • Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital, Salford Royal (Northern Care Alliance) – Works currently on site to deliver the new Major Trauma Centre on the Salford Royal site. 
  • Barrow Campus Learning Quarter (University of Cumbria) – The works included the construction of a new learning facility for the University of Cumbria. Project is delivered collaboratively with British Aerospace (BAE Systems).   
  • Withington Community Hospital (Manchester Foundation Trust) – Managing the defects period post-handover.
