DAY Project Management Ltd were formed in late 2018, to meet an increasing need from DAY’s existing client base for specialist client-side project management services. Jack Street, formerly of Turner & Townsend, joined as overall Director of Project Management Services to lead the new team. The service was launched to offer a broad range of PM services but with specific capability for delivering complex Healthcare Projects.

Jack has assembled a team of PM’s who all have healthcare experience – most of them having either worked for the NHS as Capital Project Managers or spent time on secondment with NHS organisations to deliver the same role. We believe that the Healthcare industry provides one of the most challenging and rewarding environments for PM’s to function and thrive in, which gives DAY PM a great skill set for clients from other industries to tap into.

Since our inception, we have widened our client base to include sectors such as Education, Local Authority, Industrial and Leisure / Arts. We continue to grow our team and client base

At DAY PM we believe we have assembled a top team of Healthcare specialist PM’s. All of our staff have either spent time on secondment with NHS Trusts or formerly been directly employed by the NHS, which we believe gives us a unique insight and understanding into the challenges which the NHS faces on a day-to-day basis. We have experience of delivering healthcare schemes ranging from a humble £50k reception reconfiguration to a £100m new build project featuring state-of-the-art equipment, but our capacity expands to cover education schemes, as well as local authority work and industrial developments. We pride ourselves on the professional qualifications held by our team and carry out regular learning and development for all staff, and encourage our team to hold membership of organisations such as the Association for Project Management and Chartered Institute Of Building.

We deploy a comprehensive Project Management Process on all of our schemes, which provides consistency of service via key control mechanisms, tailored to suit the individual client and project needs. This means we can adapt our delivery model to take into account project requirements ranging from a town centre public realm scheme to a rooftop helipad for an Air Ambulance!

Graduate / Assistant Project Manager

DAY PM are looking for a Graduate / Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work alongside Senior colleagues delivering a number of schemes across the North West.

Our head office is on Deansgate, Manchester, although we promote a flexible working environment. The majority of our projects are based across the North West but we do operate Nationwide.  

Since our conception in 2019 we have expanded and have secured a number of long term projects across a variety of sectors.

The successful candidate should have a Project Management qualification or construction qualification. Construction / Project Management experience would also be beneficial, particularly in healthcare. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our progressive team which will serve as a great opportunity to further their professional development.
